                      PROJECT MANAGER/ESTIMATOR

 

CYC Construction, a leading concrete contractor in the Commercial, Civil, and Industrial industries, is looking for a top notch Project Manager/Estimator to join our team.  CYC Construction is a fast paced, growing contractor in the Midwest and focuses on all aspects of concrete construction. 

 

Responsibilities of our Project Managers/Estimators include:

• Explore and pursue project opportunities.
• Prepare detailed and accurate takeoff and cost estimates for various project types.
• Manage all aspects of project from contract review and buyout through construction and completion.
• Assist with scheduling and timeline for managed projects.
• Attend all project meetings and perform site visits regularly (occasional travel to project location necessary).
• Process all job documentation including submittals, meeting notes, billings, change orders, and closeout procedures.
• Review all costs during construction to insure a timely and profitable project.
• Estimate and manage multiple projects concurrently.

 

Qualified candidates should:

• Have a Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related education and experience.
• Have 5 years minimum experience in estimating and managing construction projects ranging from $100,000 to $5 million +.
• Be able to work independently.
• Have strong communication and organizational skills.
• Be a team player and willing to accept new challenges.
• Be efficient with Microsoft and computer applications.  Timberline and AutoCAD experience a plus.
• Have a professional and positive attitude and work ethic.

                                BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

                                         ASSISTANT CONTROLLER

Assistant Controller needed for growing construction companies with 200+ employees. Minimum 5 years experience required in variety of accounting roles: Hands on AP, AR, Payroll, General Ledger reconciliation important. Must be a team player, flexible and willing to work standard 50 hour work week. Positive attitude and good communication skills essential. Experience with Construction Industry, Timberline accounting software, IT background a plus. Strong PC skills required with proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook necessary. Minimum 4 years college undergraduate degree with accounting grades of B (3.0) or better. Salary will be deterined by years of experience and abilities.
