CYC is committed to providing the most aggressive safety training in the marketplace today. With a full-time safety director on staff with more than 15 years' experience, we are able to offer the tools, knowledge and resources necessary to increase safety, reduce risk and improve the overall management of the project.

Our staff has a variety of certifications including OSHA 10 & 30 Hour, MSHA, First Aid & CPR, Rigging training, trench and forklift training, CCO certification for crane operators among other safety related courses.

 

Bill JochimBill Jochim

Our Human Resources and Safety Director Bill Jochim has more than 15 years of construction experience and is ABC and ABG certified.

In his capacity as safety director, Bill oversees all the safety operations of the company. In addition to analyzing projects in the pre-construction phase for any possible hazards, he conducts weekly site inspections to assess compliance with company safety programs and government regulations, and to ensure that all safety equipment is in good working order. Bill serves as a resource for site supervisors and managers to develop and administer proactive accident prevention measures.
